The Concord Featured in Delaware Business Times: Concord Park office plaza is about to become mixed-use
July 25, 2018“With new construction nearing completion, The Buccini/Pollin Group has rebranded the Concord Plaza office park at 3535 Silverside Road.
The formerly underused commercial property is now called The Concord, a planned mixed-use community with 341 apartments, high-end restaurants and office space.
New developments include four five-story and two four-story buildings and a new 60,000-square foot office building.
Phase 1 of construction includes a number of luxury apartments, retail space and two restaurants. The first residential building will open for move-in August 1
Two BPG companies will handle operations at The Concord. ResideBPG will manage the residential buildings, and BPG l 360 will continue to run the office portfolio.
There will be a total of 40,000 square feet for specialty retail, including Taverna Rustic Italian and El Camino Mexican Kitchen by the Platinum Dining Group.
‘Buccini Pollin is a world-class developer and The Concord promises to be a firstclass community,’ said Carl Georigi, president and CEO of Platinum Dining Group. ‘From the very beginning I knew that Platinum Dining Group had to be a part of this project.’
Marissa Abbi will be among the first residents to move into an apartment after August 1.
